Finance Minister Baqir Jabr Al-Zubaidi "The Japanese government announced its commitment to provide a loan worth up to one billion dollars to Iraq used to finance three projects of service to provide services to citizens."

He pointed out "that the loan will be used in the creation of three water-processing plants in the provinces of Nineveh, Salahuddin and Anbar (one in each province) and the establishment of a power station (crutch) in Anbar, in addition to the establishment of a power plant in the Kurdistan region."

He said al-Zubaidi "The terms of the loan very easy" if the term of the loan (40) distributed over the year (10) years and a grace period (30) years to repay the loan and the interest rate of 0,65% per annum. "

And said "This agreement comes in the framework of cooperation between Iraq and Japan in the areas of financial, economic and keenness to encourage the efforts of development and economic stability in Iraq."

Zubaidi said that "Iraq is already signed (12) loan agreement to finance the implementation of (12) project at a cost of ((2.4 billion U.S. dollars, were distributed among the sectors of electricity, water, ports, roads, oil, and covered most parts of Iraq, and that these projects are currently under construction.
