Meanwhile back at the ranch, Biden, who was a senator, you know, long before Obama ever cruised the Las Vegas Strip for money, is recovering in seclusion from a winter trip to Michigan. Being as important a team member as he is, Biden will sit in some meetings today.Here's his official TGIF -- phew! -- work schedule from the White House:
In the morning, at 9:45 AM, the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in his office at the White House. This briefing is closed press.
At 11:00 AM, the Vice President will chair a regular meeting of senior officials to assess progress in Iraq. This meeting is closed press.
Later, the Vice President will meet with senior advisors. This is closed press.
All of the Veepman's meetings today are closed. So Americans might see him again for a few days.
