Zebari receives new ambassadors of Bangladesh, Vietnam, Georgia

BAGHDAD: Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari received a copy of the credentials of the ambassadors of Bangladesh on Sunday, Vietnam and Georgia and discussed with the new envoys to Iraq means to expand the circle of diplomatic representation, according to a ministry release.
“Foreign Minister Zebari stressed the government’s keenness to broaden the country’s diplomatic representation so that Iraq may return to its prestigious position in the international family,” read the release as received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
The foreign minister has expressed readiness to facilitate the mission of the new diplomats to Iraq, it added.
