Malaysian 2nd Finance Minister to attend Asian Financial Forum
Malaysian Second Finance Minister Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah will lead the Malaysian delegation to the Asian Financial Forum commencing on Wednesday in Hong Kong.
The minister is scheduled to address more than 1,000 attendants at a policy dialogue themed "Responding to the Financial Crisis -- Financial Reform Impacts and Regulatory Regime Changes."
According to the statement issued by Malaysian Finance Ministry here on Tuesday, Ahmad Husni is invited by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the forum's co-organizer, to the two-day forum.
Ahmad Husni will also take the opportunity to explain the liberalization initiatives undertaken by the Malaysian government and the financial situation in Malaysia to the top fund managers during private meetings.
