Vice President Adel Abdul-Mahdi receives the U.S. ambassador in Baghdad
Received the Vice-President Adel Abdul Mahdi, on Thursday 21/1/2010, the Ambassador of the United States in Iraq, Christopher Hill.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in security and political situations, particularly with regard to the forthcoming legislative elections, where he emphasized the need to be held with broad popular participation and within the atmosphere of a free, democratic and transparent.
The two sides also reviewed bilateral relations and joint cooperation in various fields in the light of the agreements signed between the two countries.
