Iraq announced a conference to launch the initiative of transparency in Baghdad on Sunday.
A statement issued by the Inspector-General in the Iraqi Oil Ministry Ala Messenger Mohiuddin, that the conference will discuss the reality of the extractive industries and deal with transparency.
He said that Iraq will be the leading countries in the practice of transparency in the contractual and financial activity in the extractive sector.
