Moscow is ready to supply Iraq with arms

Moscow expressed its willingness to supply weapons to Iraq if Washington agrees on that. The news agency quoted a Jordanian official Anatoly Aisaekin Director-General of the Ross Foundation, which runs Aoborun Export of Russian exports of weapons, "Russia's willingness to supply arms to Iraq and Afghanistan if the United States agreed that" .
Aisaekin said: "The officials representing Iraqi forces seek weapons from Russia," said afterthought: "But it was too early to talk about it before deciding this issue the U.S. administration because it is required to pay a bill of weapons that may be purchased by Iraq." Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari said earlier, that the Russian side agreed during the talks held by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki in Moscow last year, military and technical cooperation with Iraq, particularly in relation to the supply of military helicopters for counter-terrorism and border guards.
