Moussa Leaves For New York

Cairo, September 19 (QNA) - Arab League Chief Amr Moussa left Cairo for New York on Saturday for a several days'visit during which he attends the the U.N. General Assembly's 64th session deliberations focussing mainly on a package of arab and international issues with efforts to push forward the mideast peace process and the situations in Darfur, Iraq and Somalia to the fore.

Moussa is scheduled to have also talks during the visit with a number of European and American officials dealing with environment, alliance of civilizations the arab-latin america relations.

The Arab League Chief will also meet on the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly deliberations with the Arab foreign ministers and the world quartet to discuss the latest developments on the palestinian arena.
